FRIDAY APRIL 30TH
There are four framed prints to chose from, simply email me which you’d like to order. Alternatively drop me a message on instagram.
For a couple of years I’ve been thinking of how to frame these four images, I’ve been experimenting with lots of different woods and textures and I fell in love with the look and feel of black walnut, I also thought this concept would really embrace the subjects within.

“I’ll have what she’s having, Tokyo.”
— A juncture moment that will always stay with me, whilst finding a place to hide for the busy streets of Tokyo. A wonderful character enjoying what she loves. Shot on a fujifilm x100f, handmade by myself with a black walnut frame and base. Hand signed print protected with either UV protection art glass or UV protection glass, to preserve the image for a lifetime.
“Dropping Anchor, Kyoto.”
— Meeting the sleeping men of Japan is an unusual moment that I found myself in Kyoto, my first night I ended up dragging a man I thought was in trouble into a hostel, he begrudgingly had to pay for a bed the next morning. As time went on I realised that this was part of the nightlife culture, the streets are clean and your belongings safe and it’s the norm to seek refuge on a warm tarmac floor on a summer’s evening to avoid the commute home. Shot with my favourite x100f, handmade black walnut frame and off course hand-signed.
“A Forest in Fuji, Japan.”
—Shot on a Fujifilm x100f whilst descending Mount Fuji. The trees crept around the emerald green grasses creating an alluring scene I’ll never forgot. Handmade black walnut frame, hand signed cotton rag print.
“The Provider, Nikko.”
— A small boy fishing in the mists of the Kinugawa river in Nikko, Japan. This photo centres me every time I glance.
